Saying Goodbye is never easy..

Hello to all my sweet friends. We've had a very sad week and weekend here on Orchard Street. MY fur Baby Admiral was sick on Monday so off we went to the vet, where I thought he might have a bad ear infection which he gets all the time. And when the vet come in crying you never get good news My baby was in kidney failure. with no warning signs and he was already very bad they kept him for the day to give him fluids and see if it would help when I picked him up he looked so sad We continued this process everyday for the week with no relief for the baby on Friday night we went to get him and he could not walk. The vet said just take him home and love on him tonight and it probably won't be long so home we came to start saying goodbye to my baby. He had an awful night so back to the vet we went on Saturday Where we choose to go ahead and put him down I held him until the end My sweet baby was ready to cross the rainbow bridge.

I on the other hand was not and still am having a very hard time with all of this he was my shadow all day and its hard to be here without him so trying to stay busy keeping my mind off thinking about him. Admiral was the greatest little dog the center of our home life The d-man's best friend and the coaches sidekick out side. He was the smartest dog always ready for a belly rub and love from all the boys who frequent our house. We love you to the moon and back Admiral and we will miss you until we see you again Love Momma

Hello Everyone I've been a bad blogger. It's been so crazy around here... I think my mil is trying to put me in the funny farm with her bad behavior. But I'm so over that she's not going to win this battle and I have better things to do..

Now on to the birthday boy My sweet Admiral had a Birthday this past week and I just had to post some pics of him on his Birthday..He is Eleven and I will have to say he is the sweetest dog who is a love bug and very smart. He also thinks he's human :)He is the Heart of Our home..

Easter was wonderful we spent it with my family and had a great day. We had picture day with the teenagers all boy fun lol... Spring is here finally in southern Ohio yeah... my flowers are coming up and everything is turning green.. Wishing all my Friends a wonderful week

It's a Party Come on Over!!!!!

We thought we would first tell you a little about Admiral since this day is all about him:) So pull up a doggie pillow and read on.
First of all he is 10 years old and of course he loves his momma. He has an unusual name that you don't hear very often It came from my son Derek whom Admiral doe's actually belong to He's named after Dereks favorite NBA Basketball star David Robinson who has the nick name The Admiral since he was in the Navy so Admiral it was or I should say Admiral David Robinson which is actually our last name.Now on to our scarf we made it has a story behind it. My son Derek has a friend Bo who has had cancer since they went to high school all the boys wear the yellow live strong bracelet's along with bo He is on his third round with this awful disease and just had a bone marrow transplant we are hoping for wonderful news soon. So Bo being one of Admiral's favorite humans we decided to dedicate out scarf to Bo. Now Admiral can be one of the boys and give all his support to Bo.

A very special model

Hi everyone

This is Admiral my very special model. Yeah I know he's just too cute you can go ahead and say it.:) Check out his new yellow scarf that came from Kelee at the katillac shack the if we decorate 150 scarves her sponsor will donate $2,000 to help abandoned dogs and cats due to foreclosure and job loss. It's the cutest scarf with a quote from Oliver Wendell her cute dog "Play Strong" who is smitten with one Ms. Maggie over at the Daisy Cottage. So Admiral and I decorated his with cute doggie buttons and his name. Everyone needs something with their name on it. The scarf reminded us of Lance Armstrong's live strong bracelets so we dedicate ours to Bo The D-mans best friend who has survived cancer twice and he is also Admirals favorite human. And now he can match them when they walk with their bracelets on. I will have to tell you he is the best dog in the whole world this is according to his momma. We loved making the scarf and hope it helps all the little doggies. Have a wonderful week:)

Hello everybody!

Happy 10th Birthday Admiral your the best Doggie a family could have. We love you Big Dog!

Yeah I'm back my laptop crashed on thursday evening and I've been in withdraw lol. We got it fixed pronto thanks LB he got it yesterday and fixed it yesterday a new mother board and we are up and running again. So a pan of brownies for LB is on the way.

Now on to more pressing matters the flea market was hopping but I only found a few treasures some glass door knobs and some cute baby clothes for my son's friend with the tags still on them.

Then on saturday we went to 2 estate sales found some cute white plates and a white platter.

It's snowing here as I'm typing this post I thought It was spring!!! I hope it clears up before flea market day. I've been working on the kitchen as I've got time with working on prom flowers and a wedding shower gift basket in between I've got another project with my grandma kate we're sewing aprons for the Mothers Day Banquet at church I'll post some pics soon they are so cute.

Just stopping to give an update.

Hello everyone,

First I want to thank everyone for all the prayers for my aunt and the pup. I'll start with the pup he got all his stitches out and all of his test came back good he has a scar above his eye where he pulled the stitches out and had to be restitched. His dad said chicks dig scars and he'll be alright. But mommy doe's not like it:) Now on to Aunt Jule I haven't been around because we had to put her in the hospital her white blood count was one and she was pretty sick she's been in since last Monday she's finally feeling a little better yesterday she finally ate all of her meals yeah this is a good thing. now we need to get her counts up so she can get back to the nursing home and hopefully home for awhile.

Oh yes I forgot my mil went to Florida yeah!!! I know I'm bad but sometimes you just have to be. I'm trying to fit in planning the big party for the d-man's big 21 on Sunday can you believe it.

More stitches

Now that's a fashion statement!

Look what happens when you turn your head, Admiral tore the stitch out of his eye we had to go back and they put 3 more in with pink thread this time. its a fashion statement I know you all want to go right out and get some for your pet along with the lovely e collar so he won't do it again isn't he pretty. His biopsy came back great just an infected gland and 2 cysts boy was Momma happy to hear that now lets just heal up so we can get rid of all the new fashion statements:)

My aunt had a Dr's appointment yesterday and he put her in the hospital she was very sick and had bleeding in her mouth from all of the treatments no updates on her cancer yet her tests are not until the end of the month. So keep us in your prayers and I'll keep everyone updated as we go along.

Of course I haven't had much time for projects but I'm working on getting started on the kitchen so I got a new rug and a clock as soon as it gets warm here I have a few projects to do and some big projects also.

Wow We've been busy around here.

My Baby with stiches This is from our front porch after the storm.

Okay it's been a while since I posted it's been a little crazy around here first we had a lovely snow storm which was a white out and we were out driving in it because mil wouldn't answer her phone so we had to go check on her she's fine and no I didn't kill her but it was a thought as we were going home sliding all the way.

My Aunt is still having treatments everyday until the end of the month and then some test to see how everything is going but so far no news.

Then we had another birthday party yes another one. Miss Londyn turned 2 she's so cute. See I told you I've been busy. My baby had surgery on Tuesday and spent the day at the vet poor baby has been in a lot of pain lots of stitches on his face and his leg. Today he's feeling a little better but stiff and his eye is still puffy.

We had a big wind storm on Wednesday no electric off and on, so no school on Thursday because our school had no electric still have some people out but school today.

We had a rainbow after the storm. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and A Happy Valentines Day.

Family Updates!

This is a photo of my Nana and her sisters and their Mom my Mamaw Boo my aunt who is sick is the one in the middle in front and the one leaning down next to her is my Nana.

I have an update for everyone on my aunt we had a setback this past week a trip to the er from the nursing home with a high fever they could not get under control. It was a infection in her blood they got that under control and then they put a permanent stint in her pancreas. she's back at the nursing home we go to the doctor for a final run through for the radiation and chemo tomorrow and then they will give us a schedule. she wants to come home but the Dr.'s say she isn't strong enough yet to be at home. so that's another thing we have to deal with everyday. Okay mil still at bil's until Saturday when we go for Sophie's 3rd Birthday Party and bring her back but only if the weather clears up. we got a lot of ice over night and then snow again today on top they got 8 inches or so at their house which is about 2.5 hours north of us. So they might have to keep her longer darn:) My baby's vet appointment had to be cancelled the vet had 2 emergency's and then all this bad weather we haven't been able to get there so we're waiting for that now she says he might have to stay one of two nights I don't think they remember the last time he had to stay it was bad!!!! lets just say he does not like to be away from his momma over night and he lets everyone know about it. So wish me luck with that one. Okay one other thing this week my Nana has something wrong with her leg and can't walk on it they think she has a cyst behind the bend in her leg she has to go for an ultra sound to see what is going on with it. I hope this is all that it is. And please continue to keep us in your prayers. Stay warm:)

Momma its cold outside!

Okay I do not like the cold weather here and neither doe's Mommas Baby Admiral see what I mean.. you can find him here anytime its cold under his blanket and would you look at that crazy dog he has to have a pillow too he 's there right now and boy is he snoring...(just like his daddy)

I have to tell you about this cute little antique and primitive shop we found on our adventures sat. I forgot the camera so no pics but I won't do that again. It was so cute she had the cutest Halloween things and I'm going back for her Christmas open house. Anyways she had orange lights in all of her fall leaves and decorations so I thought oohh that looks so cute of course I stopped at the wally world and look at the top of my scrapbook cabinet now.

It looks great at night sorry about the blurry pic my camera sucks! Maybe Santa will bring me a new one hint hint coach....

Okay I'm painting a few projects in the house today because its cold outside. Now I have to get busy here and get some house work done too so coach doesn't think I'm slaking or anything lol
