Super Bowl Weekend!!!

Okay it's one of my favorite weekends of the year Super Bowl Weekend. I've been planing our menu and getting things ready to go. I'm super excited at 2 Our Number one Buckeyes Play and then the Steelers are playing in the Super Bowl and we are going for a 7th ring Woo hoo!!! Here We Go Steelers Here We Go!!!!!!!

We are having ultimate Nachos with everything. Hot Chicken Dip and Sloppy Joe bites got lots of chips and something sweet not sure what yet.. We are expecting snow again so I plan on being in my pj's after church to Cheer like a crazy lady for my teams.. Go Bucks!!! 23 and O H I O and sorry Packer Fans but this One Is For The STEELERS!!!! I'm waving my towel :)

Hello Friends yes It says a day at the Shoe!! the Horseshoe that is cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes to beat the U it was a wonderful day!!! My husband got tickets to the game at the last minute so we got up early and headed to Holy Columbus Ohio to begin our day.. I love Columbus on Game day the sights and sounds of game day are wonderful there's no place like it. you can feel the excitement in the air. The game was great so exciting my ears were ringing when we left it was so loud. This was the best birthday weekend ever. I hope you enjoy the pics of our day Go Buckeyes!!!

Oh My It's almost game time!!!! That is The Ohio State Buckeyes Football Game Time The Bucks are kicking off college football season on Thursday night taking on Marshall University a night game is so awesome in The Shoe!!!

So in honor of My Buckeyes I made a wreath for the porch I think it looks awesome.. and of course we will have our Brutus all ready to be inflated on game day!!! Lets Go Bucks!!!!

Wow it's already time for the buckeyes to play tonight. I'm preparing everything so we can enjoy the game I hope its a good one. We heard from K.C. and he said it was 75 and he was enjoying the weather the turkey. We'll be watching good luck to Marcus and K.C. play hard We're very proud of you guys! bring home a win. Lets go Bucks!! OH IO I had to share a couple of pics also of course their of the buckeyes.

Okay I have survived the weekend the d-man made it back home from holy Columbus Ohio! and of course I didn't get all of my crafts done. My wall words project is almost done just a little more to do here's a hint I put it on something that I could use every year. My Mom and sisters garland is almost done they had to decide what to put in them and what ribbon so I have to now put them together. I got a few bargains this weekend and will post them later the d-man has the camera loaded with buckeye pictures so I'm working on loading them now hopefully I can take some pics here later today. I'm also getting ready for thanksgiving with lots of out of town guests yippy skippy:) Now I won't bore you all with my Buckeyes beating Michigan 5 times in a row or that One of My Boys had a fumble recovery at the end of the game and then got to run for a first down. We're so proud of you Marcus way to go!!!! And Thank you senior Buckeyes for all the great games we will miss you all. Okay I'll try not to mention them or that great record of 5 in a row beating that team up north. I promise:)

Okay it's a big week at our house the big game is on this weekend Ohio State vs Michigan at our house its number one priority so I've been getting all the goodies ready and putting all my Ohio state stuff out and of course inflating brutus! The d-man is going to the game and will be very close to the field the lucky duck. I hope he stays warm. Here's a pic from his seat.

I'm working on a few christmas things one my mom and sister seen at a christmas open house and ask me if I could make it. A long swag made from greenery with a bow for the front door but they wanted them for the posts on their front porches so we broke out the old christmas tree and I am working on them this week I'll take pics and post them hopefully this weekend. I am also working on a way to use my christmas wall words that I can keep from year to year. Hope everyone has a great week.

BOO and a cute plate !!

Well we didn't win our game Friday night. I think it's going to be a long season! It breaks my heart to see the boys after the game when they don't win, I always wait outside the locker room for them and they are so sad especially the seniors. but I Love them anyways win or lose:) Okay I made me some boo letters this weekend and then I made me a plate with a cute quote sticker in the middle. An idea I got from Angie Thanks Angie.. My plate is a flea market find for a dollar and I had the ribbon and quote sticker already . Wow I think that's the cheapest project I have ever did!!!! The coach would be impressed(lol) Oh you might want to see pictures of these projects right!

So this is what I did with my weekend besides watching the OHIO State Buckeyes win! Oh yeah went to an estate sale but only got 2 blue ball jars a milk glass pedestal bowl again that makes 3 in a week and a whole drawer of silver ware which I will use for eating and projects all for 14.00 so not a bad hall. I missed 2 more had to get home to watch my bucks! the d-man was there again cheering on Marcus and KC yeah!!! Hopefully there will be a few this weekend ! Here's a pic from his seat!

Buckeye Fever

Okay I thought I would give you guys a peak into our crazy obsession with the buckeyes. My husband the coach graduated from The Ohio State University so we are more crazy than we were before which was pretty bad to begin with :) Here are some pics from our house which has to have scarlet and gray in it somewhere lol The first pics are my cats meow houses above my picture window coach used to bring me one home every once in awhile when he was up there or as a gift when I didn't get to go to the game.

Okay sorry about the bad picture taking I am vertically challenged and its the best I could get without help from the tall people around here.

The next pic is the cute platter from the d-man for my bday and the light up diner from my mil see its an obsession I told you.

This next one is my fil's old army trunk that I spray painted a loong time ago and we use it in the family room its ready for sat a Ohio state tray a few buckeye things and a water globe that plays across the field I got for coach last Christmas

In the corner of this pic you can see admiral's dog bed its Ohio State also he has lots of buckeye things also toys, collars, bandannas, and a leash. He's a little spoiled He would have had a buckeye name but we had a golden named woody at the time so d-man decided to name him after his fav. bball player David Robinson the Admiral get it:) His full name is Admiral David Robinson lol. Oops got sidetracked One more pic for now it's a sign that I found the coach and it pretty much sums up this house

It says I know you've heard it said that Football is like a Religion around here. So I'd just like to clear up this rumor once and for all.....Go Bucks! Amen
