Gosh it's Thursday already. Watching those boys has thrown me off for the week I 've never gotten my painting done and it's supposed to rain tomorrow:( I hope not until late so I can try to get the rest painted and get a little thrifting done. Here's the shelve I did get painted and hung back on the wall but it needs a few things and some cute plates over it so it's a work in progress. Sorry again for the crappy picture hopefully Santa will read my list I've been pretty good.
It was stained and then I painted it cream and then sanded it and added the glass knobs to hang things on I painted the little candle light black and found the shade at wally world the welcome sign I got for 2 at the outlet it was broke and everything else I had from one place or another. I have 2 more shelves to paint the same way and I have a few other knobs to add to them. Can you see that awful thermostat in the middle of my wall don't you just love old houses we're getting a new one and I hope they can at least move it but I'm not holding my breath... I've almost got my thanksgiving stuff out and hope to take pics tomorrow no boys until Monday..

Okay I'm thankful for my faith with out this I don't no wear I would be and my greatest joy is teaching all of my little munchkins in Sunday school all about the Bible and all of it's great stories. They are like sponges soaking up all the love for the lord that you can give them..

LOVE the shelf and especially the glass knobs. For some reason, I've never thought of that idea, instead of the old wooden pegs. I'm also sorry to hear about your terrible fall. I hear tailbones are a bugger to heal. Hope you're doing better these days. And last, but not least, I love the snowmen tassels...SO CUTE.

Julie, thanks so much for the award--I will share it this weekend. I haven't had much time on the computer this week--I guess that is a good thing, except I miss checking everyone's blogs. I should have some down time this weekend. Cute shelf! And I love your thankful writings.
